My father had fever for more than one month. Is there any test which can tell the exact reason of fever?

Fever of one month duration needs to be investigated thoroughly to find the cause. Please visit a physician who will order the necessary tests based on history and examination: CBC, ESR, Blood Culture, Blood for Malarial Parasite, sputum for AFB, Complete Urinalysis.

Hello , fever has many reasons like infectious ( bacterial or viral) , autoimmune conditions, inflammatory diseases etc.... With fever as only complaint its difficult to diagnose ... Investigations are required like blood examination , sputum examination,chest x Ray, ultrasound , and others ... Even sometimes specific cause remains unrevealed after many investigation .
