Having Caugh as a side effect
Can telsar 20( telmisartan) cause Caugh as a side effect ? If Yes so how can I cope with this side effect ?

Hello... Its can cause dry cough as a side effect... Usully it subsides with time.. If persistent change the tablet...

Yes it can..if it has been started recently and it's not too disturbing u can continue to take it and see if the cough subsides. Cough often subsides within a month and in some cases within 3 months If it doesnt or it's very disturbing u have to change meds.

Dear Sir Yes telmisartan can cause a cough although it is very rare. It depends on how much it troubles you. Also is this new? Any association when it was started or is this a new thing, as it may have another cause. If it is troubling you then will need to change to another medication for your hypertension.
