My father is 60+ since last week he is feeling body ache and feverish but temp is below 100 when he takes paracetamol he feels fine but after medicine effect wears off he feels the same
He doesnot have any other issue related to taste, cough or cold or anything.
He had his first dose of covid vaccination.
Kindly help in knowing what it cud be n some medicine please.

Hello.
Monitor Temperature 6 hourly.
GiveTab Plain Paracetamol 500 Stat only if there is rise in temperature. There is nothing more needed and donot worry.
You can Check Random blood sugar value.
If the symptom persists or if any other symptom develops then Consult me.
Probable Viral fever since its recent onset
Can continue taking
Tab Paracetamol 650 3 times daily for 3 days
Take plenty of oral fluids
Soft diet
Adequate rest.
If he is diabetic or hypertensive, make sure its under control
Next Steps
If symptoms persist or worsen,get a Complete blood count and CRP checked. Covid RTPCR testing may be required. First dose of vaccine doesn’t confer full immunity
