Take an antibiotic like Azithromycin daily for 5 days. If it subsides within 3 days you can even stop it after 3 days. You have to take Vicks Action 500 thrice daily for the same period. For cough, you can accompany the medication with a cough syrup 2 tsf 3 times a day.

Don't forget to do warm saline gargle 3-4 times a day!
