I'm very happy to know that you want to quit smoking .Reduce the number of cigarettes gradually on a weekly basis .Get your teeth professionally cleaned and polished at a dentist ,this will motivate you more to quit the habit .Once you have overcome the habit ,go in for teeth whitening. A strong will power and belief in yourself is all it takes to achieve your goals

Good Ultrasonic scaling is ur first treatment option which will solve most of your problems. Other treatments such as laminates and veeneers are for severe cases where scaling will not help. Apart from this you need quit smoking.
