Hard swelling after wisdom tooth extract
Hello Doctor, My wisdom tooth extraction was done on 17/12/2024 and now much of the swelling has now been decreased but still between jaw and chick a small hard swelling paining along with inner ear pain. Kindly guide , almost like 2 weeks passed and still not recovered fully.

Hello sir, Nothing to worry about the swelling will subside in sometime. To reduce swelling: Apply ice packs in 15-minute intervals Rinse with warm salt water Avoid strenuous activities Stay hydrated, and eat soft foods. If swelling persists or worsens, visit your dentist for further treatment.

The swelling you have could be due to remaining inflammation present which will subside over a period of time with proper anti-inflammatory medication. Without more details it is difficult to come to a conclusion.
