HELLO, SWELLING OF HAND MAY BE DUE TO LOT OF REGIONS, BUT YOU HAVE MENTIONED NO INJURY OR FALL DOWN BUT STILL A PROPER EXAMINATION IS NEEDED. SO YOU CAN CONSULT A GENERAL PHYSICIAN M.D.. IN FEMALES MOST PROMINENT CAUSE IS THYROID, ANEMIA., HYPOALBUMINIA DUE TO LOSS OF ALBUMIN IN URINE SO ADVISE, BLOOD FOR HB. BLOOD FOR T3 T4 TSH URINE TEST FOR COMPLETE AND MICROSCOPIC. IF TSH IS INCREASING YOU HAVE TO START MEDICINE(TYROXIN) UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF A DOCTOR AS REGULAR INTERVALS CHECK UP IS NEEDED N SO AS DOSE OF MEDICINE SHOULD BE  CHANGED. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS. O.K BYE.
