Ideally it takes 3 months (alternate days /2 days a week)  of therapy to get back to normal function as fracture union generally takes 3 months.  It will be a graded program concentrating on increase in range and strength.  However this depends on the severity of the fracture,  what type of fixation (plate/screw/rod), any vascular or neural complications etc.
