HairFall And Health Related
Since 2020, I've experienced significant hair loss, with 50-100 hairs falling daily and thinning, receding eyebrows. I had no hair issues prior to 2020. A dermatologist prescribed minoxidil, Zydip-C lotion, ketoconazole shampoo, and tablets. After three months, I continued the same treatment. Hair fall decreased slightly, but no new hair grew in areas of loss. I consulted other doctors, who prescribed similar medications with slight variations, yet my hair loss worsened over time. In 2024, finasteride was added to my regimen. After four months, hair fall reduced, but hair growth completely stopped and slowed significantly. One month after discontinuing finasteride, hair growth resumed but was very slow. Four months later, the same problems persisted, and I noticed small patches on my beard, which healed on their own. Thyroid, vitamin D, and hemoglobin tests in 2020 and 2024 were normal. Should I consult another dermatologist or a different specialist to investigate the underlying cause
