According to your history, seems you have androgenetic alopecia. Minoxidil is a good medication for the same, but it should be applied regularly twice daily. It usually shows effect in the form of increased thickness of hair and less hairfall after 3-6 months. Also, the recession of hairline cannot be corrected with medical management. For creating a new hairline you would need hair transplant, which can be assessed by consultation.

You might be suffering from androgenetic alopecia or male patterned baldness. AS the name suggests, this is partly genetic and partly hormonal. It leads to thinning of hair and finally baldness if not taken care of.
Next Steps
best to consult a dermatologist who will prescribe you medicines and might recommend hair PRP based on your condition
