Hair loss problem
Hello Doctor, I am suffering from severe hair loss from 5 Yrs, I consulted the doctor and diagnosed the problem as fungal infection of scalp the fungal infection is tinea capitis ectothrix of Trycophyton culture. I had consulted many dermatologist but nothing worked. Is It curable, if yes then what preventive measures should i take to cure it as am loosing confidence

Hair loss due to fungal infection is easily treatable. I am surprised by the fact that its persisting. There may be other reasons as well, the fungal disease could have been a coexisting problem. There may be other lacunae as well and needs to be re-evaluated. Drug resistance of fungi can be a possible reason. Meet a good Dermatologist and re-start the entire process and hopefully it will have a solution. Hope it helps you.
