Haemoglobin level
I am 60, male with stenting since 2016 and controlled diabetes since 2021. My cholesterol is also controlled, except haemoglobin. Since 2016, the haemoglobin is under 16-18 range. Is it concerning? I don't have any symptoms. I can visit to high altitude places as well without breathing problems. My recent report shows 17.70. I don't have any symptoms or issues. Is it something to worry?

Patient's detailed medical history is required. It is recommended to consult a doctor professional through the Practo app or visit a local medical facility for a thorough evaluation. Please keep in mind that detailed medical history is crucial for proper diagnosis and treatment.

No need to worry As it is higher than the normal range, and it can be due to tobacco consumption, if at all you are consuming tobacco please stop that as it can increase the viscosity of blood and can lead to stent blockage and other complications!
Next Steps
Kindly consult for proper counseling, treatment and management.
