Hacking up flesh from throat??

Asked for Male, 39 Years

I have had a sore throat for about 3 weeks now. 11 days ago I was seen for this and diagnosed with a sinus infection and bronchitis. I was given an antibiotic named cipro and have been on it since then. It feels like I have something caught in my throat most of the time and a couple times a day while clearing my throat, or trying to, a piece of what has the appearance and consistency of flesh will come up. Afterwards there is an initial burn/sting in throat and i will spit out blood a few times.

You seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits. Forced throat clearing can sometimes cause blood in the sputum
