Gums receding fast
I had irritation in my gums last week and visited nearest dentist. She said it's because I need cleaning and did cleaning and gave me sensodyne , solin and colgate plax mouth wash as routine . After cleaning I see black triangles in my lower gums and gaps in upper gums too. Though irritation is gone I still feel sensitive also I read it does need deep cleaning and scaling if gums are receding but dentist didnot even take xray. I don't know what to do I feel my all gums will recede since I can't visit dental  hospitals due to lockdown.

If your teeth cleaning has to be done then don't worry use slightly warm water and rinse , if sensodyne doesn't help then use colgate sensitive plus toothpaste containing arginine bicarbonate more powerful than sensodyne , use your finger gentle massage your gums and also use chlorhexidine, metrogyl, lignocaine gel on your affected area ,it will give you soothing effect.sensitivity will be gone in some day when you will colgate sensitive plus toothpaste.

Your doctor has done a good job! The sensitivity will be there for a while and will gradually come down. You don't need any more treatments for now. Brush gently and use floss to keep the black triangles clean( they are natural gaps in between your teeth)
Next Steps
Brush and floss daily.
Health Tips
Apply sensodyne in case of persistent sensitivity for 14 days.

Hi, the black triangles can be due to variety of reasons like gum disease, age, smoking, bone loss, brushing teeth hard or using improper techniques, improper tooth shape etc usually when you do not maintain good oral hygiene these gaps called black triangles get filled with plaque or bacteria build up and when you get a scaling done they are cleaned and appear as black triangles.
Next Steps
Use a soft bristled toothbrush to brush your teeth Learn proper brushing techniques Massage your gums daily
Health Tips
There are different lines of treatment for black triangles. We can discuss all of them if you opt for a consultation. Thank you.

The black triangles you are talking about is just the areas which might have been covered by calculus and wouldn't have been visible prior to scaling. It is normal you don't need to worry scaling does not do any harm, its just the calculus or plaque which had done the damage. As far sensitivity is concerned it will subside within a week. Thank you.
