Gum issues form last week
From last week I had swelling in gum and some boil/pimple poped out which is hard and no pus is releasing . When I consulted doctor locally the doctor told might be it's from infection of tooth 24 which require rct and the same has been done with tooth 23 and 22 which also had cavity and crown cutting also done but the gum boil is not going .So I want to ask whether it's gum boil or something else and if it's gum boil is it from tooth 25 which was rct treated by doctor in October 2023 . I am enclosing X-ray of tooth 25 with gum swelling picture. Kindly advise what treatment should I get

That does look like an Abcess. Can more X-rays be attached before the treatment has been done?
If there is an Abcess, the source must be identified. If it is related to a decay as the primary cause, the root canal should help relieve. If there is a periodontal(gum) involvement then that should also be addressed. If the primary cause is plaque or calculus (debris) then the gum should be debrided and if needed a flap to be done. Based on pre treatment X-rays and images if possible a better idea picture can be understood.
Do kindly include X-rays (pre-treatment) if possible.
Another couple of queries:
Was medication given(please attach that as well)
Any further symptoms?-like pain etc.
Next Steps
Further X-ray and prescription to be attached along with present symptoms if any.

The swelling irt 24 appears to be an abscess. But a full mouth XRAY for the evaluation of tooth 22,23,24,25 would be needed in order to know the periodontal status of these teeth. Any previous XRAYS done would also be helpful(pre- treatment).
Next Steps
Medicines, if not taken till now, i.e antibiotics and anti- inflammatory should be started prior to any further treatment.
Do not go for crown placement on any of the teeth till the root canal treatment and evaluation has been completed.
Health Tips
Avoid putting excess pressure on the involved teeth till your crowns are placed. Do warm saline water rinses. Maintain oral hygiene.

Hi,
Is the tooth with the crown shaking? Please ask the dentist to examine the tooth before giving you crowns in the adjacent teeth. Send x-ray for tooth number 22, 23, 24 also.
