Gum bleeding /bad breath

Asked for Male, 37 Years

I am having the issue of gum bleeding and bad breath from past few months.had consulted a dentist and got the scaling and cleaning done ..but the problem re surfaced after few days and now slowly the problem is at its peak. Request you to pls let me know the reason for this problem and the cure of the same.

Reason for such is dental plaque,treatment for such is oral prophylaxis every six months. Maintenance at home by proper brushing & rinsing with commercial mouth wash solutions.

After scaling done you have to maintain your oral hygiene , if after that the problem persists then consult your dentist again for that problem

There could be a multiple reasons for this problem. Your cleaning may not be efficient enough which makes accumulation of plaque and debris. There might be a cavity where food lodgement could occur which could result in bad breath. You also need to check for stomach problems or severe acidity which can result in bad breath. There might be problem undernath the gums..might be subgingival calculas still present where it has not being clean properly or beyond the scaler reach..there might be possibility of systemic disease which may be affecting gum health..so the cleaning cannot be blamed..contact your dentist again and if possible ask him to consult a orthodontist..
