Green poop of 1.5 month baby
Hi,
Our baby of 1.5 month age is having green poop(hunter green) from last 7 days. What does this mean.

the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool.
the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.

Dear parents.
Normal stools of breasts feed baby are golden yellow to light green.
But baby on formula milk passes dark green to greyish colour stool
