On 21st March 2022 I fell on my outstretched right hand. I am not able to lift my right arm since then. Got x-rays done. But nothing seen in xray. Therefore I went for MRI scan on 5th April 2022. MRI report says "Nondisplaced greater tuberosity avlusion fracture at the supraspinatus and anterior supraspinatus enthesis yeilding two ossesious fragments measuring 1.6 x 1.1 x 1.2 cm with moderate adjacent marrow oedema."
I am using shoulder immobilizer since then. It's been 3 weeks since then and still not able to lift my arm up and its painful if I try to uplift. How many weeks should I keep shoulder immobilizer? Do I need a surgery for this fracture? I can share the MRI report. Thanks.

If you want early mobilization surgery is the option otherwise wait for 2 more weeks and start physio then.
Get repeated x-rays so that any further displacement of the fragment is not missed.

Hello
as 3weeks is completed start passive movements(it should not be done aggressivly)
After another 3 weeks do active movements
Meanwhile do shoulder xray
Next Steps
do review with reports
Health Tips
unexpectedly also do not lift weight on the affected side
3 weeks after injury u should use immobiliser ,
After that start shoulder physiotherapy by pendulum exercise and passive ROM
Continue calcium supplements and pain killers if needed
Now as it has already been 3 weeks, continue conservative management with shoulder immobilizer. Start pendulum and passive range of motion exercises. After 3 weeks start active ASSISSTED range
