A gradually shortening cycle and lighter, shorter periods over a year usually point to a hormonal shift or a change in ovulation pattern. Feeling dehydrated with constipation on top can happen with thyroid changes or with iron deficiency, both of which are common and easy to check.
Next Steps
Please book a gynaecologist consultation. A basic hormone panel (including thyroid), a haemoglobin check, and a pelvic ultrasound usually identify the cause.
Health Tips
If bleeding turns much heavier or stops entirely for more than 60 days, please seek a review sooner.
