Got number on my right and left eye both
Hi Doc, I was feeling little blurriness, from some days, as being a software engineer I need to work a lot in front of laptop. When I went for the eye test yesterday I got this result which I have attached here as a image. I was told by them to have some kind of special glasses which apart from caring my eyes to reduce the numbers I have got, it will protect from the harmful radiations of laptop and mobile phones. Could you please tell me which lens I should use and what is the exact problem after seeing my test result as attached. Thanks

Hello my friend It seems you have small amount of refractive error but it's bothering you because  your profession demands a lot of screen time. You will get great relief if you go for lenses with antiglare coating You have to follow 20-20-20 rule. Take a break of 20 seconds every 20 minutes and look at an object at 20 ft distance. You can use Refresh liquigel eye drops twice or thrice a day. Have a good day

Sir I am not sure whether you got this check up done directly from a spectacle shop/ Optician , but the power prescribed can be transposed. It's always better to get your spectacle power checkup done by Ophthalmologists. A simple Antiglare or Blue Cut lenses will help for your Laptop/Computer work. Follow the below given instructions: 1. Follow 20-20 rule. After every 20 minutes of any near work say laptops, mobile or reading take a break and focus for 20 seconds at a far away object at least 20 meters away. 2. Frequently blink your eyes while working, if not possible to remind yourself to blink then at least after 30 minutes of your work slowly close your eyes 10 times. 3. Adequate water intake at least 3-4 litres per day 4. Adequate sleep at least for 7-8 hours 5. Do not rub the eye 6. Use anti reflective coated glasses if you have spectacles 7. Cold compress to the eyes 3 times a day (Can dip clean cotton in refrigerator cold water and keep over closed eyes for 30 seconds)
Next Steps
Start with any lubricant Eyedrops like Eyedrops Flogel or Eyedrops Refresh Liquigel 1 drop 4 times a day for both eyes.
