No sugar diet, can use sugar free tablets. Avoid seasonal fruits that can increase blood sugar, exercise atleast 25 minutes a day and to reduce weight by 8%, loads of green leafy vegetables, avoid eating after 8 PM. Have HbA1c levels checked in every 6 months.
