Glucose challenge test
I am in my 30 weeks pregnant and I recently got my GCT test with 75gms.the result came around 173 mg/dl. So now iam diabetic? How should I overcome from this issue.iam really worried now about my baby.plz help.

Generally we screen pregnant women between 24-28 weeks for gestational diabetes as its very high now....I would like to clarify you that glucose challenge test is only a screening test and we can come into diagnosis or conclusion that you are suffering from gestational diabetes...
Since you're levels are higher than normal..it means that you need to undergo certain definite tests which are diagnostic like glucose tolerance test... Thank you
