Swollen gums are indicative of gum problem. As you state that you have irregular teeth it may be a reason for gum problem as more food tends to stuck between teeth which is enhanced due to lack of proper brushing leading to more accumulation of food or plaque between teeth. It is very important to clean those areas to prevent gum problem. This leads to bad smell. So first visit your dentist. First undergo dental cleaning then the dentist may advice you for Orthodontic Braces for aligning the irregular teeth which will help you in maintaining good oral health.

Hello,, it seems you have periodontitis, (inflammation of gum) is the disease of the gum. It can happen to anyone and is one of the most widely prevalent disease. it can affect the membrane surrounding the roots of the teeth and leads to pus formation and loosening of the teeth. Symptoms: There are various symptoms that indicate that you have got periodontitis . Like, bleeding gums, bad breath, and pain while eating, swollen gums, red gums and recessed gums. Causes: The main cause for inflammation is bacterial infection. The other factors are incorrect brushing, improper use of tooth picks, injury to the gum and stagnation of the food particles. Here what you can do at home - Chew on a piece of guava fruit that is not ripe. Alternately, you could also chew on the leaf if possible. This helps to stem the bleeding in the gums- The inner thread-like peel found in bananas is very good for maintaining good tooth-health. Try to eat a banana along with this thread-like peel.- Take a few orange peels and rub them over your gums, to reduce any inflammation. Alternately, you could also try lemon peels or lemon juice for this purpose.- Brush your teeth and immediately rub some mustard oil on to them, to reduce bacterial plaque. - Mix some salt and pepper together and massage the gums with the powder. This helps strengthen the gums and also gets rid of any bacteria.  If pus appears or pain is more and for irregular toothing, consult dentist.
