I was diagnosed with Gilbert's syndrome last year. Multiple lft ( total around 3-4 always, with direct and indirect almost equally high) and ultrasound.
Will this condition have an adverse effect on my liver ? Will Gilbert's syndrome lead to liver complications.

Hi,
Gilbert syndrome is actually a mild inherited condition when liver does not properly process bilirubin.
Mostly people doesnot present any symptoms and are mostly found out accidently during any blood test.
Treatment is not required normally and is harmless.
Next Steps
On testing the Liver function test you will get a raised bilirubin value at times you may mistake it as other conditions including hepatitis
