Getting white patches inside of lips
Have been getting white soft patches on the inside lower lip.these are soft and often go out when pulled by teeth. They happen more when I smoke and when I don't they go away. My mom also used to get similar soft tissue patches and stopped over time. They have been happening for 3 years now. I had consulted my dentist she said if it goes away on scrubbing it's harmless. What can be the reason for this.

Need to see if your mucosa is sloughing away. If its just on the lip. Any burning/ pain? Might be due to smoking/ very spicy/ hot foods. Please visit a dentist or oral medicine specialist
