Ovulation induction is done with The help of tablets, which stimulates your ovaries to produce follicles. Follicles are water filled balloons which contain the female egg. Ovulation induction should be done with only tablets in your case or will need injections, also depends on your age, Antral follicle count ( number of follicles in each ovary on day2/3 of your periods) and AMH blood test. At first, if you were taking pills only for contraception, there is no history of irregular periods, you can try getting pregnant with natural cycle tracking and personalized ovulation calendar for 3 months. If no pregnancy, then can move on to ovulation induction. If you have history of irregular periods, tuberculosis, age more than 33 years, husband is a smoker, better to get basic evaluation done. Which can be done on online consultation also.
Next Steps
Visit a Fertility specialist, get basic evaluation for both partners.
Health Tips
For Ovulation induction we use hormonal tablets and injections, it is always advisable to get yourself and your partner evaluated before taking these medications.
