It's understandable to feel anxious and overwhelmed, especially with a recent medical diagnosis and being a new mom. Gastritis and duodenal ulcers can be managed, and your treatment is a positive step. However, these physical conditions can sometimes affect your mental health too. It's crucial to speak to a healthcare professional about your negative thoughts, anxiety, and insomnia. They can help assess and provide appropriate guidance, including therapy or medications if needed. Additionally, don't hesitate to lean on your support system – family and friends – for emotional assistance. You're not alone, and there is help available to address your concerns.

Health anxities are common among people. But, if they persist, disturbing your mental health, that too for longer periods of time, you need to seek professional help. With this I would suggest you to consult a psychologist, preferably along with your husband. The psychologist is likely to help you in gaining the awareness that your condition is not so alarming that you need to spend sleepless nights worrying about it. In fact, what you have described as your state of health right now, is something that the doctors handle quite effectively. So, try to stop worrying. If you do not succeed in it, please go ahead with the session with the psychologist.

Hi, When you get physical issues continuously, its quite normal that it will definitely effect you emotionally and thereby cause mental issues, because physical health and mental health is directly correlated. With that being said too much emotional distresses will inturn lead to physical unwellness. This might become a vicious circle.Hence you will need an external support to elevate you mentally, and logically analyse your underlying issues and give therapies accordingly.
