Keep headside of bed up about one brick
Take dinner as early as possible so increase time gap between dinner and sleep
Take medicine for lung infection and anti emetics
Endocopy is usually not recommended at the early stages but for those who have intractable symptoms despite the medications. Avoid spicy food and going to bed soon after lunch or dinner. You would need a proton pump inhibiotor plus pro kinetic to take care of the symptoms. It would'nt be appropriate for me to prescribe medicines in this chat.
GERD is most commonly self diagnosed. In fact the symptoms are such that every one experiences those symptoms every day.
The treatment is not expensive but it doesn't lead to permanent relief.
Your first question is , "Should I get endoscopy?" , and later you say that you can't afford expensive treatment.
You may try the conventional treatment and healthy habits as far as food is concerned.
You will have to consult some doctor physically to decide if endoscopy is required .
