Please follow lifestyle modifications to control your gastric acidity. It will help you a lot, much more than any medicines.
In fact even if you get operated , you will still need to follow lifestyle modifications.

Drink plenty of water. 4 liters per day.
Avoid spicy and oily food.
Avoid outside food.
Avoid tea and coffee.
Avoid carbonated drinks.
Don't over eat.
Don't eat and lie down keep atleast 2 hours of gap.
Have green leafy vegetables and fruits.
Avoid stress.
Go for morning and evening walks everyday
Do some physical exercises on a regular basis.
Avoid alcohol.
Stop smoking
Avoid tobacco and pan masala.
