Steroids should be taken under the supervision of Doctor only, also short duration of steroid treatment is not a risk factor for black fungus , but if steroid is used for a long duration then it can be dangerous , in case of steroids , the duration of taking steroids is mote important than dose of steroids , to avoid black fungus , don’t take steroids for more than one week.....
