My husband is suffering from perianal swelling & bleeding since 5 days and it is painless... he visited gastro doc & he advised sigmoidoscopy...
I want to know what is d problem he is suffering from??? Plz help me

Sigmoidoscopy is not needed in routine piles cases.
you need to visit a General Surgeon for a simple rectal examination which can reveal the correct staging and correct diagnosis of the disease.
gastroenterology is not the right speciality to treat piles.
