Can gas travel from lower abdomen to middle of abdomen??plz tell??on lying down,i feel gas from lower abdomen travelling up and also strange sounds comes from abdomen??on morning when i wake up,i feel heaviness near belly button,which lessens on passing gas(smelly)..are all these symptoms normal?

Feeling of gas has different reasons. Often distension of intestines or stomach because of various causes gives us that feeling.
