Gap in Hand bone even after operation
I met with an accident in july 2016. My upper hand bone broke. Got an operation done and a rod was fit. Some gao was kept by doctor as he thought bone would grow on its own and fill the gap. However the gap still remains and doctor said he needs to do operation again and use a bone from leg and put in the hand. Should i take his advice n go for the operation? Or wait and let it heal on its own

Hi.. In my opinion If you have any problem as pain or discomfort or anything and if you are comfortable going through an other surgery go ahead...as the chances of bone growing is less and your surgeon knows the beat option for you... If you don't have any complaints as of now then you can wait and watch for some more time.... Hope this is helpful for you... Revert back incase you need any further clarification..
