At this age the gap is completely normal. All you need to do is wait till more permanent teeth come in! It is likely to be filled up by the time all the permanent teeth come in. If not, then you can consult an orthodontist
Next Steps
wait for now for teeth to erupt

Hii...This age dentition stage is ugly duckling stage....which means your child has permanent & milky both the teeth in his mouth...It's time for eruption of teeth...so this gaps are natural because between every milky teeth there will be some space bcz permanent teeth are bigger in size...When he will have all the permanent teeth in his mouth the space will be gone...& If not then it will require braces / aligner..
Next Steps
Book a video consultation with your son for further information
Health Tips
maintain clean oral hygiene...do gargle to remove the food lodgement in that space.

These gaps will be filled when all the permanent teeth will erupt. If the food lodgement occurs, rinse properly and floss.
Health Tips
Maintain the oral hygiene by brushing twice a day.

Hello The permanent maxillary 1st premolar erupts at approx 9-10 years of age, followed by the canine at around 10-11 years and then the second premolar at approx 11-12 years of age. This sequence of eruption is important for the formation of a proper occlusion in the oral cavity. Given that your child’s age is 9 years presently, we ll have to wait for the eruption of the permanent teeth in this case. Any kind of space closure can be carried out only one the permanent teeth have erupted, i.e. at approximately 12 years of age.
Next Steps
Hence it is advisable to wait and watch presently and maintain the child’s oral hygiene by making him brush twice daily, rinsing his oral cavity after every meal for the removal of any food debris and ensuring that he does not have any oral habits like mouth breathing, tongue thrusting, lip biting, etc.
