- They can spontaneously disappear(which is the option followed if it doesn't increase in size and is not painful or restricts movement)
- splints and anti-inflammatory medications
- aspiration of the fluid from the cyst and decompress it.
- Surgical option of removing the cyst along with a portion of the joint capsule or tendon sheath.
