Early pregnancy scans can sometimes show a difference of about 5–7 days compared to LMP dating. This is quite common and usually happens due to late ovulation or late implantation.
In your scan, the CRL is 0.55 cm with cardiac activity present, which is a good reassuring sign of a viable pregnancy. A slightly smaller gestational sac compared to the embryo can occasionally be seen in early pregnancy and does not always mean the pregnancy will fail.
At this stage, the best approach is follow-up monitoring. Many pregnancies catch up in growth on the next scan.
The parameters seem normal for an early pregnancy scan . Ultrasound only gives an estimate of the pregnancy duration and is never 100% accurate . A 1 week difference in the first trimester is perfectly normal. Repeat your scan after around 14 days if you have any concern , although even that is not really necessary.
How high was your prolactin? There are supportive medicines you can take for that condition so that it doesnt affect your pregnancy, so please consult your gynaec for that .
