Purchase a Shoulder exerciser online and start doing exercises regularly.
Now you should work up your cause:
Are you Diabetic?
Is there any history of Trauma?
Is pain worse at night and radiating down your arm?

Don’t do vigorous massage. Exercise with gentle massage will do. Painkillers should be used only when there is extreme need.

It's a self limiting and self resolving condition. You may experience difficulty in lifting you arm above the shoulder level or certain other movements. Aggressive physiotherapy should do the trick. If the physiotherapy fails, manipulation under General Anaesthesia can be tried along with an intra articular injection. Surgery is the last resort for this. Usually Surgery may not be required. I'd recommend a physical consultation to rule out/ rule in this condition.
