Divya, age 37 is suffering from frequent urination without any pain and burning sensation with intermittent pain around navel and some times in lower abdominal region. The pain is on and off and not severe. Completed 6 days Niftas 100 mg for this. Later she got urticaria due to insect bite and for this she had Citrizin and Omnacortil 10 mg for 5 days. She is now on her periods. She is showing same frequent urination symptom since today morning. She was fine for last 4 days. Can you please advise? Thank You

Better to get a urine routine test done and also give the urine sample for bacterial culture and sensitivity. If symptoms get better we can wait and see. If symptoms persist please get an ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis and consult with a urologist.
Health Tips

Hi
Hope you are doing well
I think she has got recurrent UTI.
Niftas is a good drug for maintainance rather to treat unless it is the only drug in culture to be effective.
Add another drug Tab ROLITEN 2 mg OD x 2 weeks
Get urine culture and ultrasound abdomen with PVRU
She need to start a antibiotic to be decided after culture report
Health Tips
