Frequent urination with only a small amount of urine each time in a child can occur with urinary tract infection , local genital irritation, constipation, increased fluid intake. UTI should first be excluded.
Next Steps
Please mention the child’s age, how long this has been happening whether there is burning/pain while passing urine, fever, abdominal pain, constipation, excessive thirst, increased total urine output, or bed-wetting. I would advise to do urine routine/microscopy and urine culture . Also do random blood sugar level.
