My wife is pregnant with our first child and recently a doctor asked whether we know our blood groups before marriage since she is B-ve and I am B+ve. Is this a concern? Would there be any issue to health of the child after birth or during pregnancy.

If its a first pregnancy there will not be an issue. But if the baby is also a positive blood group then mother must take few injections. Pls keep your gynecoligist informed .
