Frequent low sugar
I am on hypothyroid medication of 75mcg since 1.5 year. But I have been facing low sugar issues since 8-10 years. I take heavy breakfast in the morning and that too healthy. But still, within 2-3 hours, I get extremely weak, with shakiness, headache, dizziness and extreme hunger , confusion and palpitations. I would then  have to pop a chocolate to feel somewhat better. I have got my hba1c checked several times and the one checked in April was 5.4% which is completely normal. What should I do to solve this issue? Because now it's even happening in the evening at times. It's hampering my work schedule and I am also gaining some weight because during such episodes I take juicy or sugary foods to get immediate relief. Currently I am only taking thyroid medicine

It seems like you may be experiencing reactive hypoglycemia, also known as postprandial syndrome. This condition typically occurs in individuals who may have prediabetes, high insulin levels, metabolic syndrome, or obesity. It causes low blood sugar after meals, especially with high-carbohydrate foods. It's important to test your blood sugar when you experience these symptoms to confirm if low blood sugar is the cause. Avoiding high-carb meals, opting for complex carbohydrates, and maintaining a healthy weight with regular physical activity can help manage this condition. If symptoms persist despite these measures, further evaluation may be necessary.

Hi., can be due to changes in TSH levels. Plan for TFT. Based on TSH levels, we can decrease or increase the 75 mcg.
