Fractured jaw
I have a little fractured mandible. Doctor told me left it alone dat it can heal on its own. Is it possible??

Yes it is possible to heal, if undisplaced fracture or hairline fracture. But you take special precaution like liquid diet and avoid any force or pressure on fracture area. But immobilization is necessary  to heal fracture.  The method of immobilization wiring, disadvantage of this technique no movement of jaw. So nutritional diet is compromised and healing will be delayed. The best treatment option is plating and in this method  you take any nutritional diet & no impact of force on fracture. So healing will be very fast. But treatment plan will be decided after proper examination and radiographs
