Fracture in my humorous bone
Fall down from bike and just got fracture in my humorous bone.....then i visited to dr. Sone are saying about operation and some are telling me about plaster....help me

Where exactly is the site of fracture?? Please upload your Xray/mri of the humerous bone so that a proper decision can be made. Regards.

Dear Sir, I can understand your concern. However the decision of surgery depends on several factors. A detailed clinical examination by a shoulder specialist is recommended.

If there is no displacement of the fracture fragments and the fracture doesn't run through the joint, then plaster will do. But you need the plaster for 6 weeks minimum. Otherwise considering your age and to move your joints earlier, it's better to have the fracture fixed. Union rates are excellent with either ways, so you will be back to normal if you follow your doctor's advice. Good luck!
