This appears to be mild phimosis with minor foreskin irritation. Since the foreskin returns over the glans after becoming flaccid, that is usually normal and not a cause for concern. Avoid forcefully retracting the foreskin. Maintain proper hygiene, keep the area clean and dry, and use gentle retraction only if comfortable. If pain persists, swelling, redness, discharge, difficulty passing urine, or the foreskin gets stuck behind the glans develops, consult a doctor. If convenient, you may visit our clinic for a proper examination and personalized treatment.

Based on your description, this does not sound like an emergency. Since you have mild phimosis, it is common for the foreskin to feel slightly tight or tender, especially if you have only retracted it a few times. The mild pain you felt on the inner side of the foreskin after retraction is most likely due to temporary stretching of the foreskin or mild irritation. The fact that the foreskin returned to its normal position over the glans after the erection subsided is reassuring. In paraphimosis, the foreskin gets stuck behind the glans and cannot be pulled forward, causing increasing pain and swelling. That is not what you have described.
Next Steps
Avoid repeatedly retracting the foreskin forcefully, as this can cause small tears and worsen the tightness. During bathing, gently retract the foreskin only as far as it moves comfortably, clean underneath with lukewarm water, dry the area, and bring the foreskin back over the glans. If you notice increasing tightness, recurrent pain, cracks in the foreskin, difficulty passing urine, or repeated infections, you should consult a urologist for a proper assessment. Health Tips
Maintain good genital hygiene by cleaning under the foreskin regularly without using harsh soaps. Avoid forceful stretching or vigorous sexual activity if the area is sore, and allow the irritation to settle. If you ever retract the foreskin and it becomes trapped behind the glans, causing swelling and you cannot pull it back over the tip, seek immediate medical attention, as this is paraphimosis, which requires urgent treatment. Otherwise, mild tenderness after stretching a tight foreskin is common and usually settles with gentle care and time. Thank you

This can be normal with mild phimosis due to foreskin tightness and minor irritation. Avoid forceful retraction, keep the area clean, and consult a urologist if pain persists, swelling develops, or the foreskin gets stuck behind the glans.

Hello, From what you’ve described, it is most likely normal and not an emergency. Since you have mild phimosis and have only retracted your foreskin a few times before, the inner foreskin and the glans are naturally more sensitive. When the foreskin is retracted during an erection and then the penis becomes flaccid, it is common for the foreskin to slide back over the glans on its own. This is a normal protective mechanism. The mild pain or tenderness you noticed when the inner foreskin touched the glans is also common, especially if: * The glans has not been exposed frequently. * There was slight stretching of the foreskin. * The tissues are still adapting to retraction. What you should do: * Retract the foreskin only gently during bathing and clean underneath with lukewarm water. * Never force the foreskin back if it feels tight or painful. * If advised by a doctor, gentle stretching exercises over time may help improve mild phimosis. * Avoid excessive manipulation for a few days if the area is sore. Seek medical attention promptly if: * The foreskin gets stuck behind the glans and cannot be pulled forward (paraphimosis). * You develop severe pain, swelling, bleeding, pus, fever, or difficulty passing urine. Based on your description, this does not sound concerning, but if the tightness persists or you continue to have pain, an examination by a qualified urologist or sexologist would be appropriate.
