My kid is in his 10th month. His foreskin is balloning during urination. We have consulted a general physician. He pulled kid's foreskin back and suggested to apply anti bacterial cream for 3days doing the same way(pull foreskin and apply the ointment).
He told that after 3days he will examine again and if required will widen the hole of penis. Now after doing the process(pull foreskin and apply the ointment) his balloning got reduced but still light balloning observed(less compared to earlier). Widening thought is scaring us as parents. Any thoughts or suggestions ?

This is a normal phenomenon in small kids. The skin will become more retractable after age of 7 years. Till then gentle retraction and cleaning during bath time is all that is needed.
No need to apply any medications as simple soap water cleaning is enough.
If he has a good stream of urine then it's alright.
Next Steps
just ensure daily cleaning and avoid too much retraction.
Health Tips
if the child complains of pain and has difficulty in urination then you can consult a doctor.

Continue applying ointment for better results. You can use lignocaine gel along with antibiotic for decreasing pain. Child will get better. If not, circumcision is minor surgery and can help baby
Physiological phimosis means small meatal hole, causing ballooning and less flow or thin urine flow. This is normal upto 2 years. You can apply vaseline or coconut oil to bring the foreskin down.. don't do it too tightly
Next Steps
Unless the baby has urinary tract infections recurrently, it is not necessary to do any procedure as of now.
Health Tips
Betadine, the antibacterial cream is applied to the area to prevent infection
