Foreskin balloning during urination
My kid is 9 months old. During urination his foreskin is balloning. He is not crying though. We have consulted a pediatrician we have shown the video he didn't even see the part of the baby directly and suggested for operation. Thinking for second opinion any suggestions are helpful.
Do we need to consult an urologist?

There is a condition called physiological phimosis. It's normal upto 2 years. The area or hole through which he pees is small. It's not an issue. It will increase with time. But if there are repeated urinary tract infections, then it is advisable to do surgery..

You can apply vaseline or coconut oil slowly whenever you can and try to bring foreskin down. don't pull too hard, it might hurt him..unless you have repeated infections or pain or crying during the act of micturation, there is no need for surgery
