My daughter is 23 months old. She vomitted three times in the past half an hour. She was not sick. Can we give her something to eat or water to drink immediately?

Hello,
Assuming your baby’s weight is around 12 kg, you can give syrup Ondem or Syrup armrest whichever is available (2 mg/5 mL) 4.5 mL orally about 15–30 minutes before trying to feed or give oral fluids.
Are there any other symptoms such as fever, cold, or diarrhoea? Keep your child well hydrated by offering small, frequent sips of fluids.
If the vomiting continues despite the medicine, your child becomes lethargic, has decreased urine output consult your paediatrician.
Greetings
Do not give food or water immediately after your daughter vomits.Let her stomach rest completely for about 20 to 30 minutes. After resting, offer one teaspoon (5 mL) of water or oral rehydration solution.Repeat this small sip every 5 to 10 minutes if she keeps it down.Avoid giving large volumes of liquid or any solid foods
Yes. Don’t keep her completely without fluids. Wait about 15–20 minutes after the last vomiting episode, then start giving small sips of ORS or water (5–10 mL every 5 minutes). If she keeps it down for 30–60 minutes, gradually increase the amount.
Once vomiting settles, you can offer light foods such as rice, curd, banana, khichdi, or toast. Avoid oily, spicy foods and large meals initially.
See a pediatrician urgently if she has persistent vomiting, green or bloody vomit, severe abdominal pain, becomes unusually sleepy, is unable to keep any fluids down, or shows signs of dehydration (dry mouth, no tears, passing less urine).
