Fluid behind fetus/ baby
Hello everyone, I am 34 years old, recently conceived through IVF. One scan was done at 10w3d, in which the doctor showed our baby, heart rate normal. However, he said that lot of fluid was observed behind the the baby, which he will be checking during NT scan at 12w3d. Is it possibility that this fluid can go away/ absorbed before NT scan at 12w3d? Anything to worry about now? Since fluid is behind the baby at 10w3d scan, is it confirmed/sure that the NT will also be coming high in NT scan at 12w3d. Please guide.

It’s not about the fluid going away or not . Foetus is too small . We are concerned about the fetid whether it is normal or not especially in IVF conception . Trust your doctor and do timely NT scan which is very very important in your case
