Flexor Tendon Injury.
I had a laceration to my hand. The cut was on my left index finger where it bends. I did see a doctor and received three stitches. The doctor also did a stress test to make sure I can still bend my finger. I did a stress test but I feel that I still cannot make a full fist. I was wondering if I had an injury to a flexor tendon or am I just being paranoid. The injury was 3 days ago.

Just send me a photo of your hand resting position, and another with full fisting, we would be able to inform you better.

You should be able of do full flexion or fist making once the tissue edema comes down. Just go through the surgeons notes if the tendon was transected and whether repair has been done.
