Fillings and longivity
Which type of composite filling is best for molar pits and fissures superficial cavity? Two dentists said that I need filling on four molars(6). What should  I opt for to maximise the duration? How long does FRC composite stay with good oral hygiene? Is it the best composite for back molar grooves as all my cusps are okay? Can I drink sugar now and then if I maintain my oral hygiene? Or should I wait to have filling as I don't have any pain and xray turned out fine. I can visibly see black small holes in my tooth. Another question is if it doesn't stay a lifetime, then can i switch to gold fillings from frc composite? Is that possible or will I be loosing more tooth enamel?

Depending on the dept of cavity the filling material would be determined. Nowadays we don't do gold fillings. Composite filling would be a better option.

Hello Please don’t wait until you have pain because then you might need to go for RCT,only filling might not work then. GIC or Composite filling is recommended

Hi, Composite fillings are long lasting if maintained well. Type of filling material used depends on the depth of the cavity.

Hello! It depends on how good you maintain it, all fillings are good. Though sugars are not good for health , once in a while it's OK, rinse after having it.
